Opening first on Lagos → London

Send luggage with travellers already going your way.

Waybl matches senders with verified air travellers who have unused baggage allowance. Your money sits in escrow until the parcel is confirmed delivered — not before.

  • Typically a fraction of express courier pricing on the same route.
  • Every traveller's government ID and flight ticket checked by a person, not a script.
  • Photographed handover, weight verified on both sides, and a code at each end.

We open corridor by corridor so there are always carriers on the other side. Tell us how you'd use Waybl and we'll place you in the right queue.

One email when your corridor opens. No newsletter, no sharing your address with anyone.

HOW IT WORKS

Two sides of the same flight.

Senders pay less than courier rates. Travellers earn from allowance they were going to waste. Waybl holds the money in the middle until both sides are done.

1

Post what you're sending

Route, weight, what's inside and when it needs to arrive. Costs nothing and no card is taken.

2

Pick a verified traveller

Carriers express interest with their ticket already checked. You compare rates and records, then confirm one.

3

Hand it over, photographed

You meet at the airport, the parcel is weighed and photographed by both sides, and a four-digit code is exchanged.

4

Confirm and release

Your recipient enters their code on arrival. Only then does the money leave escrow.

ESCROW

Nobody has to trust a stranger.

The reason peer-to-peer delivery usually fails is that one side has to go first. On Waybl neither does. Payment is held by Paystack from the moment a booking is confirmed, and it moves only on evidence.

  • 1

    Funded at confirmation

Nothing is charged while a carrier is only expressing interest. Escrow starts when the sender confirms a match.

  • 2

Both sides have something at stake

The sender's fee and the carrier's 20% deposit are both held. Neither party can walk away for free.

  • 3

    Weight is reconciled at handover

If the parcel is more than 5% over what was declared, the sender approves a top-up before it travels or takes it back.

  • 4

    Released on evidence, not trust

A delivery code, photographs at both ends, and a 72-hour window in which either side can freeze the funds.

EARLY ACCESS

Opening one corridor at a time.

A marketplace with senders and no carriers is useless to everybody. We hold each route closed until both sides of it are deep enough to match reliably.

Questions people ask first.

They never hold your money. Your payment goes into escrow with Paystack when the booking is confirmed, and it is released only after you confirm the parcel arrived. The carrier also puts down a refundable deposit worth 20% of their fee — if they cancel late or fail to show, that deposit is paid to you.

Your luggage allowance is worth something.
